Official assessment structure
- Assessment component: Additional Assessment Component — Portfolio in Action worth 60%, at common level. Students develop an individual portfolio across the two-year course and, in year two, respond to an annual SEC brief by reflecting on, refining and using work from that portfolio to produce an individual multimodal submission. The portfolio itself is not submitted for assessment.
- Final examination: Written examination worth 40%, at common level. It assesses learning from all four strands, the cross-cutting elements of participating, reflecting and applying, and learning from the Applied Learning Tasks. · See current SEC examination arrangements
