- Assessment component: One Classroom-Based Assessment, completed in second or third year: students choose either (A) Portfolio of my learning and reflection in SPHE — three pieces linked to different strands with reflection, or (B) Taking action for SPHE — an individual or small-group project researching, reporting and reflecting on an action to raise awareness about or promote an aspect of health/wellbeing studied in the course
- Final examination: No SEC final examination for this short course; achievement is reported through ongoing assessment and the short-course CBA in the JCPA
