Official assessment structure
- Assessment component: Language and culture project — one Classroom-Based Assessment. Students choose a topic or issue of interest and explore it over time leading to an oral presentation, demonstrating spoken interaction/production, cultural knowledge and intercultural awareness. Chinese and English/Irish may be used. It can be completed in second or third year.
- Final examination: No SEC final examination for this NCCA short course; achievement is reported through ongoing assessment and the Classroom-Based Assessment in the JCPA.
