Official assessment structure
- Assessment component: Storytelling using myth — completed by all students towards the end of second year; students create, adapt or perform myth using appropriate storytelling conventions
- Additional component: Route-dependent CBA in term two of third year: Strand 2 students complete Rome, centre of an empire; Strand 3 students complete the Student language portfolio
- Assessment Task: required
- Assessment Task weighting: 10%
- Final examination: One common-level examination paper worth 90%. All students answer Strand 1 core-component questions and then answer either Strand 2 Classical Studies or Strand 3 Classical Language questions according to their chosen route · 2 hours
