Official assessment structure
- Assessment component: Putting the Pieces Together — one Classroom-Based Assessment completed after the three strands. Students develop a final software project in teams of two or three; individual role and contribution are assessed. Students research requirements, design, implement, test and document the software, present it for peer review and reflect on feedback.
- Final examination: No SEC final examination for this NCCA short course; achievement is reported through ongoing assessment and the Classroom-Based Assessment in the JCPA.
