Further Education and Training: SOLAS and AHEAD

SOLAS, the Further Education and Training (FET) Authority, has been a significant driver of UDL implementation in the FET sector. The UDL Guidance for FET Practitioners, launched by Minister Simon Harris, represents the culmination of a substantial consultation process with FET practitioners, national and international UDL experts, government departments, and NGOs. AHEAD has developed a complementary UDL for FET Resource Hub, providing online resources and support for practitioners. The Tipperary ETB has developed a UDL Implementation Plan that provides a detailed roadmap for embedding UDL across its organisation.
