Rec 13: Engage Students as Partners

Educators should engage students as active partners in the design of their learning environments, seeking their feedback on what works and what creates barriers, and involving them in the development of classroom norms and practices. Student voice is a powerful driver of UDL improvement and a key component of the learner agency that UDL aims to develop.
