Primary Education: Progression Continua

The development of Progression Continua within the Primary Language Curriculum and Primary Mathematics Curriculum provides flexible pathways for all students to progress toward learning goals at their own pace. Rather than offering separate programmes for students with SEN, the Progression Continua ensure that all students have access to a common curriculum while allowing for differentiated support. Despite these positive developments, professional learning for UDL at primary level remains largely ad hoc.
