Transition and Anxiety Support
Our transition and anxiety support service is designed to reduce the pressure that can build around change, uncertainty, and unfamiliar experiences. We support individuals, families, schools, and organisations to identify what is making a situation harder and to put in place practical strategies that increase predictability, preparation, and regulation. This can include support around school transitions, new routines, appointments, events, travel, social situations, and wider life changes that may trigger distress or overwhelm. We also use tools such as Deja VR to help people become more familiar with environments before entering them, reducing anxiety through preparation rather than expectation alone. The aim is to make transitions feel more manageable, more respectful, and less overwhelming, while building confidence, access, and participation over time.
